CHILDREN’S HOSPICE SOUTH WEST FUNDRAISER EVENT

Dewey Waters have participated in their second charity event this year to raise much-needed funds for the Children’s Hospice South-West.
The lucky employee who volunteered for the challenge was Brett Bolton, Dewey’s Technical Sales Executive. Brett has his head shaved at the company head office on Monday the 7th of November by a local trainee barber.

This is the second charity event that Dewey Waters have participated in to raise money for this worthy cause. Together the team have raised a total of £531 for the head shaving event, with the total amount raised for both fund-raisers coming to £1149.45.

Dewey Waters’ have also taken part in donation weeks, which involves collecting personal and house hold items that are sent to the designated charity shops and sold in the run up to Christmas. The staff collected bags of clothes, shoes, toys and bric-a-brac, which have all been donated to the Children’s Hospice charity shops.

In total the team have donated over forty large bags to sell in their charity shops with all money going towards raising vital funds for the Children’s Hospice South West.
