CUSTOM MOULDING AIRPORT ROOF

Over a number of years, Dewey Waters has manufactured bespoke GRP roof sections for traffic control towers at various airports including Jersey Airport, Newcastle Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Harare Airport, Southend Airport, Sikhuphe Airport.
The tower roofs are manufactured to the specific design from modular GRP sections. These sections are then delivered to site where they are bolted together and craned into position.

Dewey Waters’s expertise in the GRP moulding field offers the ability to turn ideas into reality using composite solutions where more traditional materials would previously have been considered.
With our experience as well as specialist consultants on hand we are able to approach most project requirements with a totally professional and positive response.

We were able to achieve the curved design using GRP, a material that also proved the most durable option, considering some of the extreme climatic conditions to which the tower would be subjected. The advantages of using a composite material over more traditional materials are listed below along with in-house services:
