Dewey waters have been manufacturing and installing sectional water tanks for the residential sector for the past 6 decades. With a wealth of knowledge and expert personnel onsite for the construction and installation of a sectional water tank to supply water to a large residential building block. Our team of industry leaders designed, delivered and installed the exact tank to suit the client’s requirements.
Our client required a temporary water storage tank to run potable water into the property for a 4-month period. The property was connected to a mains water supply but the existing pipework required an upgrade.
Our trained site assembly team reviewed the site in April to evaluate the best location for the sectional water storage tank to be installed. Once confirmed and approved, the installation project took Dewey Waters site crews one day to complete the construction and installation of the water tank.
The property currently has existing pipework connecting the mains water supply to the building but this requires replacing. The replacement pipework for the mains water supply had not yet been connected due to an issue with pipework running under a pedestrianised bus station.
For completion of the project, the area requires the council to undertake a project of digging up and replacing the existing pipes running under footpaths and a public bus station.
Dewey Waters site crews installed a 2 x 1.5 x 1.5-meter GRP sectional water tank to ensure there is no disruption to water while this project is ongoing.
This tank will be in place for up to 4 months until the external dig work and pipe upgrade work has been completed.
